Since retirement, I have started participating in a monthly book club called "Literary Ladies". It's refreshing to get out with other ladies, visit the home of the monthly hostess, and to engage in enlightening conversations surrounding a great read! This month, we read the sweetest book about a blind cat named Homer. Cat lover or not, I highly recommend this book as there are important life lessons the main character learns from all three of her cats, but especially the one she adopted when no one else would consider taking him home! This book will bring you a heartwarming smile.
