Not so very long ago, I met a friend who bred miniature dachsunds and visited her home just to meet and cuddle with all of her four-legged babies. At the time, I was beginning to experience "empty-nest syndrome" so you can imagine when I held those precious puppies, one of them claimed my heart in a matter of minutes, and came home with us. Ginger was such a tiny treasure as she fit in the palm of my hand when we brought her home. Meet Ginger! She is our love!
